Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources Karim Badawi issued a new round of appointments for finance and contracts directors in a number of petroleum sector companies.
Haytham Fakhry Abdou Saleh was appointed Assistant Chairman for Financial Affairs at Tanmia Petroleum Company. Saleh began his career as an accountant at Engineering for the Petroleum and Process Industries (ENPPI) in 2001. He progressed through various positions within the company, becoming Assistant General Manager of Financial Affairs in 2019, and then General Manager of Financial Affairs in 2021.
Mohamed Sayed Abdelhady Abdelghany was assigned the role of Assistant Chairman for Financial and Commercial Affairs at Wood Technology Company (WOOTECH). Abdelghany began his career in the sector at the Egyptian Petrochemicals Holding Company (ECHEM) in 2007 as Head of the Financial and Economic Affairs Department. He progressed through various positions, becoming Assistant General Manager of Accounts in 2014, and then General Manager of Taxes, Customer Accounts, and Fixed Assets in 2020.
Walid Mahmoud Mohamed Kamel was appointed General Manager of Contracts and Tenders under the supervision of the Managing Directors at Suez Oil Company (SUCO). Kamel began his career in the sector as a Tenders Contracts Specialist at Belayim Petroleum Company (Petrobel) in 1998. He progressed through various positions, becoming Assistant General Manager of Project Contracts in 2015, and then General Manager of Contracts in 2023.
Khaled Abdelaziz Mohamed Elgohary was assigned the role of a General Manager of Contracts and Tenders under the supervision of the Managing Directors at Petrobel. Elgohary began his career in the sector as a Contracts and Tenders Specialist at SUCO in 2007. He then moved to Amal Petroleum Company (AMAPETCO) in 2013 to serve as Contracts and Tenders Department Manager, progressing through various positions until he became General Manager of Contracts and Tenders in 2024.
Yasser Fathallah Mohamed Mohamed Tawfik was appointed General Manager of Financial Affairs and Board Member under the supervision of the Managing Directors at Magawish Petroleum Company (Magapetco). Tawfik began his career in the sector as a Data Auditor at the Egyptian General Petroleum Corporation (EGPC) in 1999. Heba Mohamed Kamel Faseeh Mohamed was assigned the role of General Manager of Contracts and Tenders under the supervision of the Managing Directors at Alamein Petroleum Company.
